Shaw was born and raised on a farm in northwest China and as a result, continues to this day to have a passion for farming.

After obtaining his Ph.D. degree in Agriculture in China, Shaw began researching, teaching and consulting in crop cultivation. In 2005 Shaw relocated to Canada and with an interest to learn more about the business side of the farming operation, he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010.

Shaw joined Stark & Marsh shortly after graduation and earned his CA (Chartered Accountant) designation in 2014, the predecessor to the current CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation.

Shaw’s areas of practice include completion of corporate financial statements, personal and corporate tax returns, and farm programs.
