Stark & Marsh CPA LLP recognize that the collection and use of personal information in our client relationships is essential if we are to succeed in achieving our mutual goals. Our privacy policies have been developed based on a model code for the protection of personal information based on “fair information practices”. Fair Information Practices include a set of policies and procedures designed to ensure the fair, lawful and ethical collection, use and disclosure of personal information, which respect the rights of the individual.

Stark & Marsh collect only such information as is necessary to provide professional services to our clients. Professional services include personal and corporate tax engagements, assurance engagements, business planning, consulting and advisory services, business valuations and succession, retirement and estate planning services.

Stark & Marsh will not collect, disclose or use personal information without your consent. When providing personal or business information for the purposes listed above the signed letter of engagement will give us consent to use the information for the purposes stated.
If we wish to use personal information that we have collected for a purpose other than for the purpose stated above, we will request your consent prior to any such use.
Disclosure
We will not disclose personal information to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by law or we receive your written or oral consent to do so.
With regard to information provided by you in order to prepare personal or business taxation or other regulatory filings, your consent will be evidenced by a signed letter of engagement.
Security, Retention and Access to Information
We have in place reasonable commercial standards of technological and operational security policies and procedures to protect all information provided by you from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. You should be aware that no electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If necessary and upon written request to our Privacy Officer, you may review and update your personal information. We urge you to notify us promptly, in writing, of any changes to your personal information. All employees, contractors and partners of Stark & Marsh CPA LLP are responsible for the security and confidentiality of all personal and business information to which they have access.
