GoGreen 2024
GoGreen is an annual event held in Swift Current and Shaunavon, SK, with the goal of bringing the community together to reduce our carbon footprint and beautify our surroundings.
GoGreen Swift Current took place on September 13th, 2024, in partnership with the City of Swift Current and Innovation Federal Credit Union. Over 130 volunteers participated, working across 13 project sites. Together, they planted 791 trees, shrubs, and perennials. The noon-hour lunch raised $800, which was donated to the Swift Current SPCA!
GoGreen Shaunavon followed on September 20th, 2024, in partnership with the Town of Shaunavon and Canalta. More than 50 volunteers contributed across 9 project sites. One of the major infrastructure projects was the construction of a gazebo at the Splash Park, while other volunteers focused on community cleanup. The noon-hour BBQ raised $591 in cash donations, along with non-perishable food items, all of which were donated to the Shaunavon Food Bank.
Stark & Marsh would like to extend a huge thank you to all the volunteers and event partners for making this annual event possible. We deeply value the contributions each of you made, and we are proud to see the GoGreen project sites continue to thrive year after year. Stay tuned for GoGreen 2025 event dates!
