Meet Our Speakers

Brad Magnusson
CEO Magnusson Consulting
Brad has spent the last 39 plus years working with producers and businesses to create strategic business strategies that enhance profitability. Brad is the CEO of Magnusson Consulting Group providing market intelligence to a variety of businesses on a global basis. Brad has held senior positions with multi-national financial institutions, government lending institutions, and Credit Union central of Manitoba. Brad has spent all of his working career providing global agricultural analysis and market intelligence. He is responsible for the analysis and forecasting of macroeconomic and financial market developments, grain and livestock market analysis in Canada, the United States and key overseas economies. Brad has traveled extensively working with over 800 producers groups, businesses & credit unions to present seminars, workshops and courses in every corner of the Canada and the U.S. He has been a key note speaker at the American Bankers Conference, Credit Union National Banking Conference and a past board member of the Manitoba & National Agrologist Association and past board member of Manitoba Rural Adaptation Council.

Marty Seymour
Chief Executive Officer | Carbon RX
Marty Seymour has 25 years experience in business development and finance. In Mr. Seymour’s previous role with Farm Credit Canada, he engaged with national industry associations, government officials, and industry influencers to help advance the interests of Canadian agriculture in areas of Carbon Management, Carbon Sequestration and First Nations Agri-Business.
In Marty’s role as CEO of Canadian Western Agribition, Marty was instrumental in positioning Regina as an international agriculture centre of excellence. Mr. Seymour has been involved in multiple trade missions to South East Asia, Australia, and the US. He has held various Board posts over the years including the economic development board seats of First Nations and Innovation Saskatchewan and currently sits on the University of Saskatchewan’s Board of Governors.
Marty’s reputation as a connector and thought leader recently earned him the distinction of Canadian Western Agribition’s Top 50 in Canadian Agriculture for his contribution to the industry.
Marty was also a recipient of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal for his contributions in agriculture.

Cole Dionne, CPA, MPAcc
Partner | Stark & Marsh
Cole earned his CPA designation in 2021 after receiving his Bachelor of Commerce degree with Great Distinction and Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. After beginning his accounting career in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, he relocated to Swift Current in November 2019, joining Stark and Marsh. In August 2022, Cole became a Manager within the firm, and in 2024 Cole joined the Senior Management team.
Cole works primarily in the Tax Advisory department while pursuing the CPA InDepth certificate, assisting with corporate rollovers, business transition transactions, and client personal/corporate tax planning.
Cole has spent time volunteering for various organizations, including the Kindersley Curling Club board (2018-2020), Micah Mission (2016-2017), and Circles of Support and Accountability (COSA) 2015-2017.

Leslie Neufeld, CPA, CA
Partner | Stark & Marsh
Leslie Neufeld holds a bachelor of administration degree from the University of Regina, and obtained her chartered accountant designation in 1996. Leslie began her public practice career with Deloitte & Touche in Regina, Saskatchewan, and relocated to her hometown of Swift Current in 1996 to join Stark & Marsh CPA LLP.
Leslie became a partner in 2006 and currently focuses on the Technical Services business unit which provides tax and compliance services to individuals and corporations. She has also worked extensively in the field of trust and estate taxation.
From 2012 to present, she has served as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Stark & Marsh CPA LLP. From June 2008 to June 2010 she served as a member of Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan and has also participated on the Institute’s Practice Appraisal Committee. Leslie was also a member of the Board of Director of Saskpower from 2012 – 2017 and Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee.

Andrea V. Argue, K.C.
Argue Law
Andrea received her Bachelor of Laws with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2001. In 2021, she was conferred the designation of Queen’s Counsel (now recognized as King’s Counsel).
Andrea has been in private practice in Swift Current, Saskatchewan since completing her Articles of Clerkship with the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal in 2002. Her practice focuses primarily in the areas of Corporate and Commercial Law, Real Estate, Business Organization and Succession, Estate Planning and Estate Administration. A significant part of Andrea’s practice is agriculturally related: she advises primary producers as to general business matters, and has a specific interest in the unique legal challenges and opportunities farmers face in their operations and estate planning.
Andrea has volunteered her time as a presenter and writer on various legal topics to both professional and public audiences. She has also volunteered and acted as a Bencher with the Law Society of Saskatchewan serving from 2019 to 2024. As a Bencher, her committee appointments included competency, trust safety, discipline, ethics, insurance, and firm regulation. Andrea was very pleased to serve as President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2023.
Andrea’s current volunteerism with the profession sees her sitting as the Saskatchewan Council representative on the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, where she also sits as a member of the Standing Committee on Mental Health and Wellness, and the National Discipline Standards Committee. Outside of law, Andrea volunteers as Chair of the Swift Current Comprehensive High School Community Council.
